I’m so sorry guys for not posting anything in a long time. How are you all doing? I heard the weather is pretty bad in the Netherlands, haha. The last two weeks went by so fast and I’ve been to lot of places and didn’t had wifi or time to make good blog posts about it, so now I finally have the rest and wi-fi, I’ll tell and show you everything from the last two weeks.

I’ll start with my last days in Costa Rica, in hotel Bougainvillea. The last week I worked as a waitress in the restaurant. I would leave the last day of October, and go to curaçao to celebrate my 18th birthday with my parents. But what we didn’t know was that because I was still a minor by that time I needed permission of my parents and so I could first not leave the country haha. Eventually everything turned out right and I was able to leave. The last day was amazing, it was sad though but still amazing! The people from the hotel were so nice and became really like a family to me. I baked another cake to thank everybody, and then as a surprise I got my own cake already for my birthday, they gave me all kind of little presents. It was really special and something I will never ever forget.

NEVER STOP DOIN’ WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO!

My roommate and I were in some creative mood and wanted to bake a cake for our Tico friends, so we did. We went to the supermarket by bike, bought the ingredients, and started to bake. But our kitchen at the school campus is not like our normal kitchen so we had to improvise how we would make it. We mixed all the ingredients in a little pan and when we found out that we didn’t had a cake form we baked it in a wok pan, haha. It actually went well, the cake was good and the Tico’s loved it! Never stop doing what you love, even if you’re at the other side of the world.
